Merino Wool 10" Round Trivet

It comes out of the box feeling like a chunky, soft sweater, and it handled a screaming-hot Dutch oven without a single mark on my oak table. The 10-inch size gives you plenty of room, and I love that it doubles as a stylish centerpiece when it's not in use.

The wool is dense enough that I set a bubbling Dutch oven on it straight from the stove and the wood underneath stayed cool to the touch. It’s also surprisingly plush, not scratchy like some wool trivets I’ve tried, and cleans up with a quick wipe.

I placed a hot cast-iron skillet directly on this trivet and the wool didn't scorch or leave any marks on my dining table. It's thick enough to provide real heat protection while still looking elegant for serving.
