Dinner feels a little more special now that the table’s got this natural texture under the plates, and the merino wool holds up well even after a few spills. It’s the kind of piece that makes a weekday meal feel like a proper sit-down.

The wool is noticeably softer than I expected for a placemat, and it adds a cozy warmth to the table that paper or cotton never could. Even after a few meals, the surface still looks clean and holds its shape perfectly.
