Merino Wool 12" Round Trivet

I was skeptical that a wool trivet would hold up to daily use, but the merino fibers are far more resilient than I expected and haven’t flattened out even after a week of hot cast iron. It’s also surprisingly easy to spot-clean, which makes it my go‑to for both protection and style.

The wool is dense enough that a piping-hot cast iron skillet didn’t leave so much as a mark on my oak table. I’ve left it out as a permanent centerpiece now, it just looks too good to tuck away.

I was a little worried about stains, but the 12-inch diameter easily handles my largest Dutch oven and the merino wool hasn't shown any wear.
