Merino-ull oval bordskåner

Dinner felt a little more special the first time I set these out, the oval shape is elegant and the wool catches the light in a way that's hard to photograph. They've held up through three weeks of daily use, no fraying or pilling, and the softness under my wine glass is a nice touch.

The wool is noticeably thicker than the average cotton placemat, so it actually cushions the table from hot plates without that flimsy, sliding-around feel. We leave them out all week and they still look crisp, which is more than I can say for our last set.
